WHAT IS SCALP MICRO-PIGMENTATION?
Scalp Micro-pigmentation is a revolutionary new hair loss treatment that has helped hundreds of thousands of hair loss sufferers worldwide. It is currently the fastest growing hair loss treatment in the world.

Scalp Micro-Pigmentation has proven to be a safe and effective, non-invasive treatment utilising a non-surgical technique that reproduces the look of natural hair and has immediate results. It is the only 100% effective solution for hair loss including thinning hair, hairline recession, pattern baldness, alopecia, and hair transplant scarring.

HOW DOES SCALP MICRO PIGMENTATION WORK
Scalp Micro pigmentation is a remarkable non-invasive procedure.
To create the appearance of hair, the use of natural cosmetic pigmentation and state-of-the-art equipment help to create your desired hairline, add density to thinning areas, and blend into your existing hair for a seamless look .
By accurately replicating your own natural hair follicles and hair colour, scalp micro-pigmentation can help strengthen and add density to thinning areas, creating an undetectable illusion of thicker, stronger hair.
Scalp Micro-Pigmentation uses detailed micro-needles to deposit natural pigment into the scalp. As hair follicles don't naturally grow in the same directions, our practitioners take the time to fully observe and reproduce your unique hair pattern. Different shades of pigment are used to create the most realistic hairline for you.
The result creates the appearance of tiny hair follicles that help thicken and restore the look of fuller hair. Natural pigments are applied at the epidermal level of the skin via micro needles. This reproduces the natural looking results and appearance of short in length hair.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM SCALP MICRO-PIGMENTATION
Scalp Micro-pigmentation provides an excellent hair loss solution for both men and women.
The treatment is suitable for all types of hair loss, on all skin colours and types and can be undertaken at any age above 18.

It reproduces the look of natural hair and provides a convincing illusion even if you suffer from a skin disorder, Alopecia, scarring from surgery or an accident, pattern baldness and thinning hair.

When administered, the Scalp Micro-pigmentation treatment can restore receded hairlines or thicken remaining hair, camouflage transplant scarring, and create the look of close-cropped or buzz cut hair. Clients are left with the appearance of a closely shaven head, or in the case of thinning hair – a thicker, fuller head of hair, masking the scalp with the appearance of hair follicles.

Scalp Micro- pigmentation can be used to create the illusion density and a fuller, head of hair in men and women by creating density.
We will work around your existing hair without damaging it.
Over a number of sessions depending on the individual needs of our client, we will build up density with natural looking hair follicles in the form of micro pigment implantation's on the epidermal layer of the scalp, this will eventually disguise the baldness of the scalp.

Scar Camouflage
Do you have scars from surgery, burns or an accident?
Yes, scars can be treated with Scalp Micro Pigmentation.
We delicately deposit pigment into the scar tissue and surrounding area to help 'blend in' and diminish the visibility of the scarring. We match the colour and replicate the look of follicles inside the scar.
Depending on what kind of scarring is the case, whether the scar is raised, indented or flat, clients can expect up to 60 -80% improvement in the appearance.
If you’ve had a hair transplant and are unhappy with the visibility of your surgical scar, Scalp Micro-pigmentation can help conceal it.
A large percentage of Scalp Micro-pigmentation clients seek the treatment to help camouflage FUT [strip] and FUE scarring associated with prior hair transplants. These scars can be very visible and limit hair style options for the individual.
Types of scars we can help disguise:

FUT transplant scarring [Strip scarring]
FUE transplant scarring [Plug scarring]
Alopecia Scarring
Accident Scarring
Burn scarring

Alopecia Areata
Scalp Micro-pigmentation can be used to combat Alopecia Areata, especially if the client is prepared to wear their hair as a buzz cut with a stubble appearance.
We will look at the follicle density in the areas where there is existing hair and replicate the follicle patterns in the areas effected by the Alopecia Areata.
It is imperative that the colour is matched perfectly and that the area treated with Scalp Micro-Pigmentation is 'blended in' to the existing hair line.
Alopecia Areata is known to migrate to other area's, so ongoing treatments is recommended.
In the case of women with Alopecia Areata, who wish to keep the length of their existing hair, we can disguise the Alopecia Areata, making it less obvious. Every case is different and has to be assessed in a free consultation to provide the best solution for our clients.

To start, our team will need to assess your hair loss situation to determine the best solution.
The best way to do this is to schedule a free consultation with our artist at our studio.
Your hair loss solution is reviewed by our scalp micro-pigmentation artist, who will guide you from beginning to end – with a customised treatment plan.

During your consult, our artist listens to you, and customise your treatment, with your input on hairline design, style preferences, and final goals. Our artist may simulate a hairline to match your desired look. This hairline mockup allows you to see exactly what the treatment will look like on you.
After you are completely satisfied with the hair loss treatment plan – we schedule your first treatment appointment .

To create the most natural appearance possible, on average, patients receive two to three treatments spaced out 10-14 days between each session, followed by “maintenance touch ups” every 4-6 years, if needed.
Your unique treatment is normally completed over the duration of 2-3 sessions, each lasting 3 – 4 hours on average.

The 1st session is used to lay the foundation of replicated hair follicles. After the first session, you will notice an immediate difference and a full look appearing.
The 2nd and 3rd sessions are used to add additional layers of density to create the appearance of full, short hair, and eliminate any sign of hair loss.
This allows for a gradual and natural build up of hair density, matched to your existing hair typically on your sides and below the crown. It is imperative to have patience and understand the importance of 'blending in' the Hair Tattoo treatment into the existing hair in order to create a seamless flow.
We can make minor adjustments to the hairline in these sessions as well. After each treatment, our artist will provide you with aftercare instructions.
